JON FAVREAU - FAVREAU PREDICTED STRIKE END

JON FAVREAU prematurely announced the end of the Writer's Guild Of America strike on a late night talk show on Thursday (07Feb08). Just hours before the end of the three-month industrial action was officially announced, Favreau brought cheers from the studio audience on The Late, Late Show With Craig Ferguson when he claimed, "Did you hear? The strike's over!" A stunned Ferguson was forced to denounce the claim later in the show.
