WILLIE NELSON - FANS FORCE NELSON TO RETHINK CANCELLED CONCERTS

LATEST: Country legend WILLIE NELSON has changed his mind about cancelling a string of rescheduled concerts, after receiving pleas from fans to show up and play. The grizzled singer/songwriter pulled the plug on four September (07) shows in Missouri, Illinois, Iowa and South Dakota last week (ends14Sep07), citing exhaustion. But Nelson's representatives report he will be appearing at the shows after all. Tour promoter Jeff Fortier tells website CMT.com, "He got bombarded with e-mails, calls and requests, and he decided he didn't want to let the fans down." The concerts were originally scheduled for July (07), but overtired Nelson postponed them.
