JESUS CHRIST - FAN FORCES BERNHART OUT OF DREAM CANYON HOME

Folk-rocker DEVANDRA BERNHART has been forced out of his dream home in Topanga Canyon, California by a crazed fan who thought he was JESUS CHRIST. The singer-songwriter felt the need to move from his "beautiful" retreat after the devotee attacked a woman who was living with him. Bernhart tells Mojo magazine, "Somebody came over and attacked this female friend that was staying because he thought he was Jesus, and he wanted to save her. "Jesus told him to come to the house where we live, because of some song I wrote. "I've always opened my doors to anybody, based on the kindness that I received when I was homeless. But when they violently attack friends, it's time to leave."
