MATT LE BLANC - EX-FRIENDS STAR SUED BY FORMER MANAGER
Friends star Matt Le Blanc is facing a lawsuit from a former manager who claims he owes her $1 million (£500,000).
The claim has been made by Camille Cerio, who says that Le Blanc agreed to pay her 15 per cent of all earnings he made from the hit US series and any spin-offs.
Le Blanc appeared in all ten series of NBC's Friends and was the star of the less-successful Joey, which hit the screens soon after the Friends finale.
Ms Cerio filed a lawsuit at the Los Angeles superior court this week which accuses the actor of breaching his contract with her.
She claims that she received payments up until 2000 after becoming Le Blanc's manager in 1994, but that nothing has been forthcoming since.
The lawsuit also claims Le Blanc was guilty of unfair business practice and demands that he reveals the full extent of his earnings from the show.
Entertainment site TMZ.com cites a representative of Le Blanc as saying in response: "In a land of meritless lawsuits, this is the king of all cases without merit."
As well as appearing in Friends and Joey, Le Blanc has also taken film roles in 1998's Lost in Space, Charlie's Angels in 2000 and All the Queen's Men a year later.
