EAGLES - EX-EAGLES STAR TO PUBLISH BOOK IN U.K.
Former EAGLES guitarist DON FELDER has been given the go ahead to release his memoirs in Britain - despite his ex-bandmates banning the book from publication in the United States.
Orion Publishing plan on releasing Heaven and Hell: My Life as an Eagle in the U.K. next month (Nov07), even though ex-Eagles rockers Don Henley and Glenn Frey have spent years fighting to prevent the book hitting store shelves.
A source tells the New York Post's gossip column PageSix, there has been a "fierce, five-year lawsuit behind closed doors which has cost millions and which has been fought vehemently by Felder."
Felder, who co-wrote the group's biggest hit Hotel California, was fired from the band in 2001 and signed a nondisclosure agreement as part of his settlement.
