SARA EVANS - EVANS SO SICK ON WEDDING EVE

Country star SARA EVANS feared her wedding day last month (Jun08) would be a disaster when she fell violently ill the day before the big ceremony.
As the singer was preparing to wed radio chat show presenter Jay Barker she was hit with a stomach bug and spent the eve of the nuptials throwing up.
The illness became so bad at one point, Evans went to hospital.
She recalls, "I went home, took four Advil (painkillers), had a beer and got in bed. I woke up the next morning and felt a lot better."
And now Evans is thrilled she had the strength to go through with the wedding: "I married my best friend. We feel so blessed and so lucky."
