ESTEVEZ TO PLAY CIA MASTERMIND IN STONE'S POST-9/11 MOVIE

EMILIO ESTEVEZ has signed on to star in director OLIVER STONE's follow-up to 9/11 drama WORLD TRADE CENTER, according to Internet reports. TheHollywoodNews.com claims the actor/director has become the first name attached to JAWBREAKER. The film focuses on America's response to the terrorist attacks with the invasion of Afghanistan and hunt for OSAMA BIN LADEN, and is based on CIA mastermind GARY BERNSTEN's memoir about the invasion. Bernsten co-ordinated the efforts of the CIA and Special Operations Forces to end Taliban rule in the Middle East. Estevez was Stone's first choice for the lead in Vietnam movie PLATOON, but brother CHARLIE SHEEN landed the role instead.
