ESTELLE - ESTELLE: 'LEGEND RUMOURS ARE AN INSULT'

British singer/songwriter ESTELLE has slammed rumours she is dating U.S. star JOHN LEGEND - branding the claims "an insult". The 27-year-old is signed to the star's record label Homeschool, and will be the first act to release an album through the label next year (08). But Estelle insists she's furious with those who suggest she used sex to land her record deal. She says, "I wish people would stop insulting me like that. It's like, couldn't I have got where I am because I do good work? You've seen me struggle so if someone comes along and they appreciate my talent I'm supposed to have slept with them? "If he was just f**king me I wouldn't be signed right now. Not a lot of groupies get signed to record deals."
