ESTELLE - ESTELLE CAUGHT UNAWARES BY WEST

British R+B star ESTELLE was left red-faced after she was caught unawares when she came face-to-face with hip-hop mogul KANYE WEST. The star, who is the first act to release an album through John Legend's Homeschool record label, admits she was taken by surprise the first time she met the Stronger hitmaker. She says, "I was in a cafe in the States with my friend John Legend, eating pancakes and going on about Kanye. "I was telling John how I needed to be introduced to him properly because he's amazing and John said, 'Er, he's standing right next to you'. He'd already arranged the meeting." Luckily for Estelle, West was unfazed by the first impressions, with the pair collaborating on new track American Boy. She adds, "Kanye saw the funny side. He's a really down-to-earth guy."
