Chart-toppers the Enemy will be leading the way this year as the NME Rock N Roll Riot tour hits the road.

Tom Clarke and co will also be joined by Lethal Bizzle and the Wombats for the tour, which kicks off in Oxford on September 27th and takes in 18 venues before wrapping up in Birmingham almost a month later.

The Enemy are still riding high after We'll Live and Die in These Towns hit the top of the album charts and frontman Clarke says the tour will be "celebratory" after this success.

"I'm dead excited about it," he told the NME.

"It's a wicked feeling hearing people singing We'll Live and Die in These Towns, it's just amazing, it's one of the most elating, exciting feelings you can ever have."

Liverpool band the Wombats will also be in support after their Kill the Director single broke into the top 40 singles and the tour will coincide with the release of their debut album in October.

Walthamstow rapper Lethal Bizzle, whose album Back to Bizznizz also features Kate Nash and Babyshambles, makes up the lineup after supporting the Enemy at a recent gig at the Astoria.

Tickets for the tour go on sale at 09:00 BST tomorrow.
