EMINEM - EMINEM DIVORCES WIFE FOR SECOND TIME

Eminem has divorced Kim Mathers for a second time, less than a year after they remarried.

The pair, who were high school sweethearts, first married in 1999 before divorcing in 2001.

But rather than a case of once bitten, twice shy, the rapper and Kim remarried in January this year – a union that was to last for less than four months.

Both have agreed to divide property under a private settlement and to share custody of their ten-year-old daughter, Hailie Jade Scott.

They told the court that they understood the divorce was final.

Circuit judge Antonio Viviano said that the couple behaved with "dignity and respect".

"All in all, they are a very fine couple to deal with," he added.

His now ex-wife has often made it into the lyrics of Eminem's songs, most notably in the vitriolic Kim. During his career he has won an Oscar and Golden Globe for best song in 8 Mile and numerous grammys and MTV awards.
