EDWARDS HELP AFRICAN SHOE CHARITY CAMPAIGN

Former ER star ANTHONY EDWARDS will help collect thousands of shoes in New York next week (begs05Nov07) for charity. Edwards is taking part in the Shoe4Africa campaign which sends footwear to residents of the Kibera slum in Kenya. Celebrities including Natalie Portman and Elijah Wood have already donated shoes to the cause. And Edwards has high hopes for when he rounds up the donated shoes near Central Park on Monday (05Nov07). He says, "Our goal is to get one million shoes there."
