EDDIE MURPHY - EDMONDS: 'BROWN HAS NO IMPACT ON MY RELATIONSHIP WITH MURPHY'

EDDIE MURPHY's fiancee TRACEY EDMONDS insists the star's troubled relationship with SPICE GIRL MELANIE BROWN has had "absolutely no impact" on the pair's relationship. The couple, who began dating late last year (06), have found themselves at the centre of a paternity battle over four-month-old child Angel Iris, who DNA tests proved is Murphy's daughter. But Edmonds remains confident the controversy has not affected her relationship with the Beverly Hills Cop. She says, "The Melanie Brown situation had absolutely no impact on my relationship with Eddie. That relationship was long over. "I knew about the potential paternity issue and I've been supportive of him." On Wednesday (01Jul07), Brown confirmed her plans to take Murphy to court in order to claim child support payments and "to decide what is reasonable".
