BLUE - DUTT GETS COURT NOD FOR FILMING ABROAD

Bollywood bad boy SANJAY DUTT has been granted permission to travel abroad to shoot his new movie BLUE - despite facing a six-year sentence for illegal firearm possession.
The judicial bench ordered authorities at Mumbai, India's anti-terrorism court to release Dutt's impounded passport, enabling him to go to Malaysia, Thailand and the U.S. to film - but ruled that the official document must be surrendered by 30 September (08).
Dutt was released on bail in November (07) on the condition he could not leave the country without court permission after he was found guilty of illegal weapons charges in connection with the 1993 train bombings in Mumbai, which killed over 200 people.
