FAYE DUNAWAY - DUNAWAY OFFERED TO JOIN RUSSELL BACK ON REALITY SHOW

Legendary actress FAYE DUNAWAY offered to accompany filmmaker KEN RUSSELL back onto British reality TV show CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER after he quit the programme - but producers refused. CRIMES OF PASSION director Russell quit the show's London compound last Sunday (07JAN07) after rowing with UK reality television queen JADE GOODY. And when Oscar winner Dunaway heard the news, she phoned Russell's wife LISI and suggested she take him back and enter the house with him. But Russell says, "I suggested it to the producers, but they refused. It's unbelievable, isn't it? They'll let Jade Goody and her mother into the house, but not Faye Dunaway. "Faye has a lot of class and would have made quite an entrance."
