PRINCE CHARLES - DUCHESS OF CORNWALL 'RECOVERING WELL'

LATEST: British royal PRINCE CHARLES' wife CAMILLA, DUCHESS OF CORNWALL is "recovering well" at a London hospital after a hysterectomy operation this morning (05MAR07). The 59-year-old arrived at the GBP500 ($975) per night King Edward VII Hospital at 11pm on last night (04MAR07) for the operation, where she is expected to remain for the rest of the week. A spokesperson for Charles and Camilla's London residence Clarence House confirmed the operation was "routine" and not cancer-related: "The Duchess Of Cornwall had her operation this morning and is recovering well." Camilla's engagements have been postponed for the next six weeks to give her time to recover from the operation.
