MICHAEL DOUGLAS - DOUGLAS' SON TO STAND TRIAL

Movie star MICHAEL DOUGLAS' son CAMERON has been ordered to stand trial on cocaine possession charges. Santa Barbara, California Judge Joseph Lodge upheld charges of felony possession of a controlled substance against the 28-yearold actor and his friend, Christopher Lane, at a pre-trial hearing on Thursday (18Oct07). Both men will be arraigned on 16 November (07). Police claim they stumbled across Douglas and Lane in a car near a Carpinteria, California motel, and found a syringe on the floorboard with liquid cocaine in it. Douglas reportedly claimed the syringe was his. Both men were arrested.
