DONOVAN WANTS TO PLAY DOCTOR WHO
Singer JASON DONOVAN is desperate to play the title role in British sci-fi show Doctor Who.
The former Neighbours actor and eighties pop hunk is hoping the show's producers give him a call when the current doctor David Tennant leaves.
He says, "I would love to play the doctor. It's a great show.
"Can you imagine an Aussie doctor?"
Donovan's former girlfriend Kylie Minogue appears in this year's (07) Doctor Who Christmas special.
