Music legend FATS DOMINO has returned to the home that was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina for the first time since the 2005 storms. The AIN'T THAT A SHAME singer, 79, rode out the hurricane in his native New Orleans, Louisiana, but was devastated when his family home was left a wreck. Domino, real name ANTOINE, has relied on charity to help get his life back on track, and now his home's shell is safe enough to live in again. A local musician's charity has agreed to fund a $100,000 (GBP51,200) rebuilding project on the home, situated in the devastated 9th Ward. In an emotional return to his old home on Friday (09MAR07), the thrilled singer said, "It don't take a lot to be happy."
