Comedian DOM DeLUISE is battling two forms of deadly cancer. The 74-year-old star of Blazing Saddles was diagnosed with penile and prostrate cancer at hospital in Santa Monica, California this month (Jan08), after being hospitalised three times in the last year-and-a-half. An insider tells the National Enquirer, "Dom has had health problems for years, but this time it's different - it's the big C. He's terrified he's dying. "Over the past 15 years, Dom has dealt with addiction to prescription drugs, hip replacement surgery, heart disease and diabetes. But now he feels completely helpless." But a cancer specialist insists there is hope for the funnyman, telling the tabloid, "If caught early, before it spreads to the surrounding lymph nodes, (penile cancer) is highly treatable."
