DOHERTY RETURNS TO STAGE AFTER PRISON STINT

Troubled rocker PETE DOHERTY has returned to the stage for the first time since his stint in prison.
The star was released from jail last week (ends11May08) after serving 29 days of a 14-week sentence for violating his probation.
And the 29-year-old - who had missed a number of gigs while in prison - performed with the Babyshambles at The Forum in London on Tuesday night (13May08).
The singer told fans he was "a bit rusty" after his spell in prison and joked that he had developed a "massive spot" on his face.
The band's frontman began the show by thanking "everyone who wrote a letter over the last month".
