PETE DOHERTY - DOHERTY RELEASED WITHOUT CHARGE

LATEST: Troubled rocker PETE DOHERTY has been cleared of joyriding charges after he was arrested early on Saturday morning (13JAN07). Police will take no further action against the BABYSHAMBLES frontman and another male. But the third man, REDOUANE AALIT, has been charged with failing to stop for police, driving without due care and attention and not having a test certificate, insurance or driving licence in Hackney, east London. Aalit will appear at Thames Magistrates' Court, London today (15JAN07). Earlier in the evening Doherty had played a gig with his band Babyshambles, announcing afterwards, "I'm never getting married. I don't believe in it. KATE (MOSS) and I are in love - I worship her - but we're not going down the aisle. I'm happy the way it is."
