DIZZEE RASCAL - DIZZEE RASCAL TOPS U.K. CHART FOR FIRST TIME
British rapper DIZZEE RASCAL has topped the U.K. charts for the first time ever.
The hip-hop star's track Dance Wiv Me beat off stiff competition from U.S. singer Ne-Yo and dance act Basshunter to take the top spot.
Previously, Dizzee Rascal's highest position in the singles chart was 11 with Stand Up Tall in 2004.
American Idol winner Jordin Sparks was at number four with her collaboration with Chris Brown, No Air.
And Brown himself held fifth place with his single Forever.
In the album charts, Coldplay retained their number one position for the fourth consecutive week with Viva La Vida.
Welsh star Duffy held onto second place with Rockferry, while Brown took third with Exclusive. Neil Diamond came in at number four with Home Before Dark and Darren Styles' Skydivin' placed fifth.
