DIZZEE RASCAL - DIZZEE DOUBTS JAY-Z'S GLASTONBURY HEADLINE STATUS

Dizzee Rascal has admitted Glastonbury organisers' decision to top their Friday night billing with Jay-Z "is a bit of a funny one".
Speaking to BBC Radio 1Xtra, Dizzee who is himself appearing at Glastonbury this year admitted seeing a hip-hop artist performing at the festival was more than a little unusual.
He doubted whether Jay-Z has the vital "crossover element" required to appeal to festival-goers, mentioning Kanye West or Eminem as examples of those who have.
But Dizzee remained certain he will go down a storm at the festival.
"I will do my thing there, I will show there is definitely a place for rap at Glastonbury. It's the first time performing on my own so it should be good," he said.
The row over Jay-Z was sparked by Oasis veteran Noel Gallagher, who declared the hip-hop star's presence "wrong" last week.
Gallagher said fans expected "guitar music" but Emily Eavis, organiser of the festival and daughter of its founder Michael, defended the decision to give Jay-Z his headline slot in the Independent this week.
"He has not only become one of the world's greatest hip-hop stars, he is also an artist who has an amazing live act," she wrote.
"In truth, we felt honoured to have him on board, and believe that he is absolutely the right act for our festival."
