THE GOSSIP frontwoman BETH DITTO loves criticism of her larger than life appearance - and regards insults as a compliment. The singer's rotund figure has attracted a great deal of attention, both negative and positive. But Ditto - being heralded by many as a positive female role model - insists she draws most attention from the insults thrown her way. She says, "I read things where people call me a 'fat ugly b**ch' and it's amazing. I feel like ugly is beautiful. "I am at the point where I can take that as a real compliment."
