ROMAN POLANSKI - DIRECTORS SHARE MOVIE-GOING MEMORIES

Legendary filmmakers including ROMAN POLANSKI, THE COEN BROTHERS, DAVID CRONENBERG and LARS VON TRIER have all signed up for a Cannes Film Festival project to reveal what it means to go to the movies.
The initiative pulls together 35 directors from around the globe who have each been allotted three minutes to screen short movies on the theme.
After being packaged together to make a single film, the work will premiere on 20 May (07) to mark the 60th anniversary of the French Riviera festival.
Festival director GILLES JACOB says, "None of the directors has learned anything about the other shorts, not even the plots of their colleagues' movies."
However, he revealed Cronenberg shot his movie in a bathroom.
Other stars taking part include BABEL director ALEJANDRO GONZALEZ INARRITU and IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE's WONG KAR-WAI.
