Action star VIN DIESEL is reportedly dating a sexy US TV presenter he once publicly flirted with as she interviewed him for news show ACCESS HOLLYWOOD. MARIA MENOUNOS chose the XXX star as her date when she cheered on her pal RITA WILSON during a recent performance of stage musical CHICAGO in New York last week (19JUL06). A source close to Menounos confirms a relationship saying, "They've been friendly for about a year." The 28-year-old Menounos is also an aspiring actress and will star opposite JAMIE KENNEDY in the upcoming comedy KICKIN' IT OLD SKOOL. She also appears in JESSICA SIMPSON's new music video A PUBLIC AFFAIR. A Menounos pal says the actress has had a long-standing crush on Diesel and is thrilled with the progression of the relationship. The source adds, "There's always been an attraction there. (Now) they're taking it to the next level."

Well, it looks like Vin Diesel's private life has made it into the media! What
happened to "I'm not going to put my relationship out there." or "I don't date
celebrities. "I date in Europe because I not so recognized there." Well, get
ready for the "go through the garbage gossip" and the "third person rumors"
because Vin has landed a reporter/spokes person. Com'on everyone knows that's
her true calling and I'll bet he going to have to learn the quote, "off the
record baby!" Vin Diesel is going to find out just how un-private his personal
life will become by dating Maria. Get ready for the celebity soap of a
lifetime. Everyone's just dying to find out what he's like and Maria came just
in time. The next question we should be asking is: when will the wedding bells
ring and where will they be making their happy home? California, New York or
