BRUCE WILLIS - DIE HARD SET FOR NEXT SUMMER

LATEST: BRUCE WILLIS will return to the big screen next summer (07) in the fourth installment of the DIE HARD action series, it has been confirmed. After a decade on hiatus, Willis will reprise his role as rough-and-tumble New York City cop JOHN MCCLANE. The new film, LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD, will be released over the coveted July Fourth holiday weekend in the US to coincide with the patriotic storyline. The story follows an attack on the country's computer infrastructure, but the man behind the attack never expects an old-fashioned cop to mess up his plans. The movie will be directed by UNDERWORLD: EVOLUTION film-maker LEN WISEMAN. He explains, "Our villain is high-tech, but the way MCClane deals with him is low-tech. A fistfight still solves a lot of problems." The first three films in the Die Hard franchise have grossed nearly $750 million (GBP417 million) worldwide.
