DIE HARD ROLE PAID FOR OLYPHANT'S HOUSE

TIMOTHY OLYPHANT was so desperate to pay for his new house, he signed up for LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD without even reading the script. The actor was shocked when his TV show Deadwood cancelled last year (06) - and the prospect of not being able to afford the repayments on his new home meant he signed up for the action movie, which was released internationally as Die Hard 4.0, on the spot. He says, "They cancelled Deadwood right after I bought a house, so I was going to work one way or another. "I don't need to read the script. I'm in. Let's go!"
