Rap mogul SEAN COMBS snubbed the Oscars ceremony to party with SIR ELTON JOHN.
The hard-partying businessman, who recently announced a 22-date tour with former rival SNOOP DOGG, said he preferred to revel with the ROCKET MAN than attend the lengthy Academy Awards at Hollywood's Kodak Theater.
Combs, 37, says, "Partying is what I do best, and I've been having a ball - if you know what I mean.
"I had a ticket for the Oscars show, but I decided to go to Elton John's dinner instead.
"Way more fun. Way more Diddy"
