CAMERON DIAZ - DIAZ TO BATTLE POMPEO OVER NY PAD?

CAMERON DIAZ is facing competition from GREY'S ANATOMY star ELLEN POMPEO for an apartment in New York, after both actresses were seen viewing the same $5.5 million (GBP2.75 million) pad. The luxury property is located in the upmarket Chelsea Club, and boasts four bedrooms, four bathrooms and six private terraces, according to the New York Post's gossip column PageSix. Diaz first looked at the apartment during her four-year relationship with pop star Justin Timberlake, which ended in January 2007, and paid her third visit to the property last week (ends08Feb08). Pompeo viewed the pad for the first time last week, but neither star is thought to have put in a formal offer just yet.
