NAOMI CAMPBELL - DEVASTATED CAMPBELL COMFORTED BY DIANA OVER VERSACE

Supermodel NAOMI CAMPBELL was comforted by the late DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES following the death of their mutual friend designer GIANNI VERSACE in 1997. The 36-year-old was amazed by Diana's compassion at her time of need. Campbell says, "The last time I saw her was at Gianni Versace's funeral. And she was holding me, telling me he loved me very much. She was wonderful. "I used to visit her occasionally. We'd have fun, comparing notes on how to deal with the newspapers. She was a nice, regular person who I really respected." Diana died in a Paris, France car crash a month later in August 1997.
