DESPERATELY SEEKING SUSAN TURNED INTO BLONDIE MUSICAL

MADONNA movie DESPERATELY SEEKING SUSAN is set to become a stage musical featuring the songs of BLONDIE and DEBORAH HARRY. The London production, which is the brainchild of Peter Michael Marino, will be directed by Angus Jackson when it begins a run at the Novello Theatre on 12 October (07). Blondie frontwoman Harry has written a new song, Moment Of Truth, for the show, which will play alongside her established hits, like Heart of Glass. British actress Emma Williams will star as Susan, the part originally played by Madonna in the 1985 movie, which also featured Rosanna Arquette and Aidan Quinn.
