DEPP VETOED PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN TOOTHPASTE
Actor JOHNNY DEPP used his star power to prevent movie bosses from launching a Pirates Of The Caribbean tie-in toothpaste - because his character has awful teeth in the films.
Depp, who plays Captain Jack Sparrow for a third time in the upcoming Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End, is amazed by how imaginative the advertising for blockbuster movies can be.
He says, "There were only a couple of things that I thought, 'Now we're stepping over the line.'
"I drew the line at hygiene products. It just seemed wrong. Captain Jack toothpaste, for example. How can a guy with gold teeth sell toothpaste? It's like a bald man selling shampoo.
"And cold cuts would be weird - Captain Jack hot dogs, bologna, things like that."

I agree with you. That don't make sense to me.Where did they come up with that.
I don't blame him one bit. They're definitely crossing the line with this one!
How ridiculous. They should just stick to toys, fun stuff. Toothpaste is not
fun!
