DEPP: 'I'LL NEVER SETTLE'
JOHNNY DEPP will never settle in one country, because his unconventional upbringing has left him with a fear of getting "stuck" in one place. The Hollywood star, 44, lived in more than 20 different places during his childhood. Now he and his family - partner Vanessa Paradis and their two children Lily-Rose and Jack - solve the problem of Depp's restlessness by dividing their time between France and Los Angeles. He says, "We try to stay in France for six months a year, and then we live in L.A. for six months. It has to do with my upbringing. I don't like to be stuck in one place for too long. "We were total nomads when I grew up. We travelled around all the time. It's ingrained into my psyche, into my being. I think it's good for kids to get out there and see the world. There are other interesting places than just the United States."
