DENISE RICHARDS - DENISE RICHARDS FACES LEGAL ACTION

Denise Richards is being sued for upsetting two paparazzi photographers.

Scott Cosman and Rik Fedyck have filed papers at Los Angeles superior court alleging that Richards, 26, assaulted them last November.

During the incident in question Richards allegedly called the two photographers "paparazzi scum", as well as less pleasant names, when she discovered they were taking pictures of her.

According to reports she then grabbed the two photographers' laptops and flung them over a nearby balcony, injuring an elderly woman who declined to press charges.

The photographers are also suing former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson, who was with Richards at the time as her co-star on upcoming film Blonde and Blonder.

They claim that the pair lied about the incident to police. Among the other charges being pressed are battery and defamation as well as assault.

Nightmares and "emotional distress" are among the consequences of the two actresses' actions, the paparazzi snappers say.

Neither Richards nor Anderson, 39, have publicly commented on the charges.
