DENCH 'THREATENS TO QUIT' BOND ROLE

Veteran actress DAME JUDI DENCH wants to quit the BOND movies - but producer BARBARA BROCCOLI refuses to let her go.
The British star joined the film franchise at the spy's boss M in 1995's Goldeneye and became an instant hit with fans.
But she often threatens to walk away from the role - until movie bosses convince her to stay.
Broccoli, the daughter of original Bond producer Cubby Broccoli, tells Comingsoon.net: "She is our anchor. She is the anchor of the film in terms of the character. She is the only authoritative figure in Bond's life.
"She had such a great relationship with Pierce (Brosnan) on the screen and she has such a great relationship with Daniel (Craig). She is our anchor. She is the real Bond girl - the one that keeps it all going, and I don't want her to leave. She keeps threatening to leave but I will not let her!"
