ELLEN DEGENERES - DEGENERES SITS FOR FASHION SHOOT

Comedian ELLEN DEGENERES posed for the new cover of fashion magazine W, but refused to wear a dress during the shoot. The 49-year-old, who is famous for always wearing trousers/pants, wouldn't compromise her personal style when she agreed to appear on the style bible's March (07) cover. She explains, "I just wouldn't feel comfortable in it (a dress)." The talk show host was shocked when she was approached to appear on the cover, adding, "I know what this magazine is... It's a fashion magazine. For me to even be asked to be on the cover - it's huge." Meanwhile, the star, who will host the Oscars on 25 February (07), is considering several wardrobe changes for the big ceremony because so many designers are making clothes for her. She adds, "Everybody's sending me stuff. Gucci sent me this amazing package with all kinds of designs and different kinds of fabrics... They're making me something. Zac Posen sent me a gorgeous tuxedo. Vicktor + Rolf is making me something. "I wasn't planning on changing because it's just different suits, but I may do it, because I'd like to thank them all for making me stuff, for wanting to do that."
