CITIZEN KANE - DEEP THROAT NAMED LANDMARK MOVIE

Hardcore porn film DEEP THROAT has been named alongside CITIZEN KANE as one of 100 landmark movies of all time. The infamous 1972 sex film features in the RADIO TIMES GUIDE TO FILMS list. The British publication's film editor ANDREW COLLINS says, "Deep Throat is not necessarily recommended for everyone - it's a quite badly made film - but to deny its influence would be pure snobbery. "This is not a list of the greatest movies ever made - we've had plenty of those already - this is a chronological journey through cinema history pinpointing those films that changed the course of the industry, for better or worse, sometimes seismically, sometimes by smaller increments."
