Golden Globes loser TED DANSON is grateful he found out he had missed out on an award at home - it meant he could be honest about his disappointment. The star-studded ceremony was cancelled because of the ongoing Hollywood writers' strike, and winners and losers were informed during a televised press conference on Sunday (13Jan08). Danson - a losing nominee in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television - says, "We were at home because of the strike. Which was sad. It was also sad that a lot of shows that could have used the attention, didn't get it. "On the upside, we were at home in our pyjamas drinking wine, and when I lost, I jumped up and screamed, 'I lost, I lost, I lost.' And sat back down. Which was great, because usually you have to look like it's fine."
