DADDY YANKEE - DADDY YANKEE TO TAKE UP ACTING

Reggaeton superstar DADDY YANKEE is set to make his acting debut in new U.S. TV series CANE. The series, which debuted last month (Sept07) and stars Jimmy Smits, is about a family caught up in the sugar cane business. Yankee makes a cameo appearance visiting a nightclub owned by one of the show's main characters. He also performs his song Who's Your Daddy on the episode. He says, "It's been an honour to take part in a show alongside fellow 'boricua,' Jimmy Smits, who has helped make a name for our culture. "Whenever they want to have me back, I'll return immediately. It's a show with high production value."
