BILLY RAY CYRUS - CYRUS TO HOST COUNTRY AMERICAN IDOL

BILLY RAY CYRUS has landed a new job - hosting the new series of the show dubbed the Country American Idol. Cyrus will present Nashville Star on U.S. TV channel NBC, in a quest to find the next country music great. He says, "It's all about the dream, the music, the persistence, faith and putting the music first. I'm really excited." Cyrus will take over from singer/songwriter Jewel, who hosted the last season of the TV talent show.
