RUSSELL CROWE's stint as a sports owner began in style in Sydney, Australia earlier today (19MAR07) when his Rabbitohs beat city rivals the Roosters at Aussie Stadium. More than 24,000 fans turned out to see the derby which kicked off the new Aussie Rules Football season. A delighted Crowe cheered his team to a crushing 18-6 victory and then joined players in the locker room to personal congratulate them on their success.
