MACKENZIE CROOK - CROOK'S PARENTING ADVICE FROM DEPP

British actor MACKENZIE CROOK will always be grateful to his PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN co-star JOHNNY DEPP - because the Hollywood star gave him plenty of useful parenting advice.
The pair met on the set of 2004's Finding Neverland, and Depp recommended Crook to play the role of one-eyed pirate Ragetti in the Disney blockbuster trilogy.
Crook reprised his role in the two sequels and became close friends with Depp throughout filming.
And the former The Office star admits Depp - who has two children with girlfriend Vanessa Paradis - was constantly dishing out tips on child care.
He even recommended that Crook cut the umbilical cord when his wife, Lindsay, gave birth to their first child in 2003.
He says, "He's (Depp) a pain in the arse. He's a family man, he adores his family over everything else and he told me what to expect and gave me some good advice."
