DANIEL CRAIG - CRAIG CALLS FOR END TO BOND'S JOKES

British actor DANIEL CRAIG has urged 007 bosses not to write any more jokes into the JAMES BOND films - insisting the lead character is a secret agent, not a comedian. The 39-year-old, who took over the legendary superspy role for 2006's Casino Royale, wants writers to tone down the humour in the next installment and make the movie franchise more serious. He says, "I don't think you should have gags in Bond. I'm not going to shy away from the fact that occasionally there should be humour. I just don't like written gags. "That's not the way I've ever liked working and I don't think it is funny."
