COYNE'S CONFETTI WAR WITH SERIOUS ROCKERS

FLAMING LIPS star WAYNE COYNE caused confetti mayhem at a 2008 festival in Mexico after fellow performers NINE INCH NAILS and STONE TEMPLE PILOTS complained about his colourful finale.
The zany frontman admits he and his bandmates can shoot off $3,000 (GBP2,140) of confetti during shows - and that fact troubled rockers Trent Reznor and Scott Weiland.
Coyne tells Spin magazine, "Nine Inch Nails and Stone Temple Pilots were worried about our confetti getting on their little guitar setups.
"I'm just like, 'Who gives a f**k?'"
