GIRLS ALOUD - COYLE BLAMES METCALFE SPLIT ON AGE GAP

GIRLS ALOUD star NADINE COYLE puts her split from actor JESSE METCALFE down to the eight-year age-gap - insisting she was too young to settle down.
The Irish singer, now 23, began dating the former Desperate Housewives star in 2006 but they split a year later (07).
And Coyle admits that the relationship didn't work out because she didn't feel ready to get married and have children with the star.
She writes in the band's new autobiography, Dreams That Glitter, "I was 20 when I met him and any talk about a permanent future just seemed very alien to me. Something I wasn't ready for. He was 28 and wanted to settle down and have a wife and a family.
"I was just too young to think about settling down."
