SIMON COWELL - COWELL FELT BRANDY'S RETURN WOULD BE 'UNCOMFORTABLE'

Music mogul SIMON COWELL scrapped plans for R+B star BRANDY to return as a judge on his US TV hit America's Got Talent - because he thought she'd be "incredibly uncomfortable." The singer/actress, who is currently facing two lawsuits following her involvement in a December (06) car crash that left a woman dead, has been replaced by Sharon Osbourne. And Cowell, the producer of the talent show, admits he thought it would be a bad idea to bring Brandy back. Cowell's co-producer, Ken Warwick, says "It (car crash) would have played probably on the audience's mind." The second season of America's Got Talent will premiere at the end of the month (29May07).
