SIMON COWELL - COWELL DOESN'T LIKE MUSIC

Music mogul SIMON COWELL rarely listens to music and doesn't even own an iPod. The AMERICAN IDOL and X FACTOR judge has enjoyed a phenomenally successful career as a music producer and executive at record label BMG. His artists have sold 25 million albums and boast 17 number one singles. But he confesses he shuns music when he is away from the office. Cowell, 47, says, "(I can) go weeks without listening to music for pleasure. "If you work at a fish and chip shop, it's unlikely you're going to eat fish and chips at night. "The idea of sitting in an audition room for 14 hours then putting on my iPod - it's like, 'No! I can't do it.'"
