COUNTRY STAR CARGILL DEAD AFTER SURGERY




Novelty hitmaker HENSON CARGILL has died following complications from an operation. He was 66. Cargill, who died in his native Oklahoma on Saturday (24MAR07), scored a massive US hit in 1968 with SKIP A ROPE - a country song about social issues. His other hits include THE MOST UNCOMPLICATED GOODBYE I'VE EVER HEARD.
